Joy has been teaching lessons on the drum kit since 2005, offering one on one private lessons, group classes, camps and workshops. She specializes in developing strong curriculum that is comprehensive, motivating and fun. She offers patient and supportive guidance with a low barrier approach that builds confidence in her students. Each lesson takes you step by step in proper technique, rudiments, stick control, reading, coordination, beats and songs. Beginners of all ages enjoy working with her, age 3-100 welcome!
