Red RIde Tour 4-way

Red Ride 4way

Getting really excited to be a part of this very cool tour featuring Kristi Lane Sinclair and Cris Derksen. We will be hitting up all the big cities in Canada and performing with many special guests, including George Leach, Iskwe, Nick Sherman and Laura Ortman.

Here is a little write up from the Red Ride Tour 4-way site

A collective of Aboriginal musicians will hit the road May 16 taking their showcase of artists across the country in what is described as an eclectic community of culture.

From a cellist and violinist to a guitar god and grunge goddess, Red Ride Tour: The 4-eva will embark on a two-week tour across Turtle Island from Vancouver to New York City. Anchored by classical grunge rocker Kristi Lane Sinclair and critically-acclaimed composer and cellist Cris Derksen, they will be joined at various gigs by 2014 Juno Award winning rocker George Leach, celebrated songstress Jennifer Kreisberg, pop diva Iskwé and rising folk singer Nick Sherman.

“This is our fourth year in a row taking indigenous acts on the road across Canada, and each year it grows,” says Sinclair, the brainchild behind the Red Ride Tours.  “It started out as just Cris and me, in my little Chevy Optra hatchback driving across Canada playing live music venues,” she explains.  “And now this year, we have acts like George Leach and Jennifer Kreisberg wanting to join the tour for a few dates.”

The Red Ride Tour begins in Vancouver on May 16 and will make stops in 14 cities including Banff, Calgary, Regina (where they will pick up Leach), Winnipeg (that is quickly becoming the Aboriginal musical center of the universe), Thunder Bay, Toronto, Montreal and culminating in Brooklyn, NY, on June 1.
